Touristr allows its users to plan, share and book trips online. Our aim is to be a source, not simply of reviews, but of stories, adventures and photographs associated with destinations, which would help the traveller to decide on a destination.

Our idea is to extend TouristR to help the traveller plan a more complex travel product, such as a trip with multiple destinations on a fixed budget and timeline. In this situation, there is no existing online assistance to help the traveller cope with the additional problem of selecting and combining multiple elements so that budgetary, geographical, temporal and other personal constraints and preferences are observed. Touristr is partnering with DERI, the largest semantic web research institute in the world to build this smart trip planner. In short, we want to take the headache out of planning a trip.
