The intrepid guys up in the North have been kicking around the idea of an iPhone DevCamp for hose interested in learning how to develop for the platform. I think this is a great idea and if you want to get involved in the discussion and planning process then head over to xcake.org and jump into the conversation about the DevCamp there. Or leave your thoughts in the comments and I’ll pass them on. I think it’s a great idea and would love to see more people support it.

Matt Johnston of the Digital Circle brought this to my attention and is one of the main motivators in making it happen. in case you don’t know who he is does similar work to my role for the Digital Media Forum focusing on Northern Ireland. Matt is also a involved in Infurious who build a comic app for the iPhone.
