PutPlace heading to Under the Radar
News May 2nd, 2008As announced by PutPlace CEO Joe Drumgoole on his blog Wednesday some big news has come from one of his connections on the trip to the Web 2.0 Expo. At the Ireland connects event he ran into Debbie Hillard and to use Joe’s own words
“I was somewhat casually pitching her the PutPlace idea when she totally blew me away by announcing that this would be a good candidate for Under The Radar.”
So PutPlace will be presenting to Under the Radar on the 3rd of June. For those that don’t know, PutPlace is an online service that helps home users manage long term storage of their digital content. It provides you with an online backup service that backups up all your digital content, across all the devices in the home and recognises the fact that these devices are related to each other. So you never have to sift through CD backups again.
Wow! This really is a validation of the idea that you should always be pitching. It’s also very cool that PutPlace is mentioned specifically in the blog post announcing the participants.
I’d like to congratulate Joe on this and wish him huge success with it, it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
